This past weekend and through the non-profit organization Icing Smiles Inc., I had the honor and privilege of making a shark themed birthday cake for a little boy named Nolan. Icing Smiles is a non-profit organization that provides custom c...elebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. I not only had the opportunity to make his cake but I also had the privilege of meeting him in person. He has been through so much and he is only 10 years old!!! One thing I learned is that he is a fighter! No matter what comes his way he still is able to smile inspite of it all! His mom sent me the nicest message today thanking me for the cake I made for Nolan. I may have helped a little boy enjoy his birthday but through this experience I learned just as much from him! It truly is the little things that matter.

This cake was created for the daughter of one of my high school classmates. As a bday present her daughter wanted to visit Atlanta. She called asked if I could make a fashion inspired cake because her daughter absolutely loves FASHION!!! I truly enjoyed making this cake!!!
What girl doesn't like a Louis Vuitton cake, right?? I was asked to make this cake for a young lady for her birthday. Talking about something fun to make!! The entire cake was edible except for the diamonds!!! The birthday girl was too pleased!!! Happy birthday Jozetta!!!
2013 is off to a great start!!!! I had the pleasure of making this superhero cake for one of my regular customer's son. He loves superheroes and when asked he said he had to have Ben 10, Green Lantern, Spiderman and Batman. Mom requested the bomb in the middle. The entire cake is edible!!! Both mom and the birthday boy were pleased!!! Another happy bday boy!

God chose me to be given this gift. He filled me with curiosity and questions that sparked my interest back in 2005. He provided me with the courage and the initiative to approach the woman working in the bakery at Walmart to ask her, "where did you learn how to do that?" and yes she shared. He gave me the determination to take class after class and to practice and demonstrate what I had learned. ...He blessed me to be creative, use my imagination, and to bring people's dreams to life! Even though I was doing this because of my love and passion for it God allowed my work to be recognized resulting in my first magazine interview!! He favored me, he favored me, he favored me and because of it I had the honor and privilege this year to be apart of so many special occasions!!! With all my love to all my clients, family, and friends I say thank you! I truly appreciate your business, your love and your support!!! 2012 was such a creative year for me but I know my God has much more in store for me!!! Are you ready??? I'm ready to take Sweet E's cakes to the next level!! Praying that God continues to order my steps, you all pray for me and then we watch him work it out!!! Thank you all again!!! I love you all.. Happy New Year!!!!
I was asked to create a cake for a gentleman who was turning the big 50!! He is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. and his wife wanted a cake to represent his membership in this Fraternity. The cake is a 14 inch vanilla cake there were 50 cupcakes that accompanied the cake. Happy birthday and Happy New Year!!!
I had the honor and privilege for making a cake for one of my former students, who is absolutely like a second daughter to me, son's first bday!!! Now my Ki (the bday boy) had some rather weird likes but when his mom said Bubble Guppies I said lets go with that!!!! LOL... The top layer was chocolate cake and the bottom layer was vanilla. Happy birthday to my big boy Ki Ki!! YaYa #2 loves you to pieces!!!
